Terrys Digital Ltd
Terry started his career in the aerial trade back in the seventies, starting work as an apprentice TV engineer. His boss at the time came out with, 'its no good you looking at TV's down here if you don't know what's up there'. So, Terry started those endless hours standing at a top of a ladder, swinging an aerial around trying to get rid of ghostly pictures while the older engineer stood by the TV shouting which way to turn the aerial ,with a cup of tea in his hand. He attended Worcester Technical College and gained a City & guilds in TV Servicing.
The next move in years to come was to start working from home, where he found he was putting TV aerials up as well as fixing TV's. The business has grown now to being a Limited Company that employs 7 people with 4 vans on the road. The company joined the C.A.I in 1999, where Terry attended the SMATV course and passed in 2001. The firm does a lot of work for Housing Associations and does domestic work as well. Terry still rigs 2 days a week, so is fully in touch with his team of engineers and the every day problems that occur in the trade today. |
